A magnitude-5.8 earthquake struck the Chile-Argentina border region on Wednesday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The quake, detected 116 kilometers southeast of San Pedro de Atacama in Chile, was at a depth of 131.6 kilometers, the USGS data showed.
