Originating in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), the Wuzu Fist, or the Five Ancestors Fist, is one of the southern Shaolin kung fu forms. Combining movements derived from five kung fu schools, the Wuzu Fist employs empty fist blows, as well as long and short weapons, to generate power and ferocity. In 2008, the Wuzu Fist was officially included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
