The New Development Bank (NDB) has achieved significant milestones in the past eight years. In an exclusive interview with CGTN Anchor Guan Xin, Leslie Maasdorp, Vice President of the bank says the achievements include building a portfolio of approved loans worth $35 billion for 99 infrastructure projects, obtaining an 'AA+ international credit rating', and providing substantial support to member countries during the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking ahead, the NDB aims to expand its membership, deepen its focus on local currency financing, and enhance its green credentials by investing in projects that reduce carbon emissions.
