After the International Atomic Energy Agency issued a comprehensive report on the disposal of nuclear-contaminated water at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, Japan seems to have found itself a "shield" for dumping nuclear-contaminated water into the ocean. In disregard of the opposition from the international community, Japan's obstinate and selfish decision will be disastrous for the ocean environment and make the world pay a heavy price.
