A first round of consultations on a free trade agreement (FTA) between China and Honduras started on Friday in Honduran capital Tegucigalpa.
The Chinese delegation was led by China International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Shouwen.
"The two sides conducted in-depth consultations on the overall objectives, work responsibilities and next steps of the negotiations, and achieved broad consensus," according to a statement issued by the Chinese Commerce Ministry on Saturday.
