In a heartwarming and rare scene, workers at the Altun Mountains National Nature Reserve in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region captured footage of a female Tibetan antelope giving birth in a snow-covered mountain valley.
The remarkable footage showcases the incredible birthing process of these majestic creatures, which are known for their annual migration to give birth in safe habitats.
The protection personnel from the reserve reported that the survival rate of Tibetan antelope newborns is less than 10 percent, but the overall population of Tibetan antelopes continues to grow, from around 5,000 to over 65,000 today.
