Meaning a "prosperous and auspicious prefecture," Taizhou in Jiangsu Province is one of China's happiest cities and the hometown of Peking Opera master Mei Lanfang. The city boasts a refreshingly vibrant, water-rich environment and a sound ecology with the Fengcheng River winding through it, where the Zhenhu Wetland and Qianduo Scenic Spot also attract a large number of visitors. People's happy lives in Taizhou begin with the city's signature morning tea each day.
