Israeli protesters blocked major highways on Tuesday after a bill that would curb some of the Supreme Court's power won initial approval by parliament, with full support of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's hard-right ruling coalition.
At least 42 people were arrested on Tuesday morning in judicial reform protests across Israel, local media reported.
Protesters blocked roads across Israel and demonstrated at Ben-Gurion Airport and additional locations on Tuesday morning, in protest against the Reasonableness Standard Bill passing its first reading in Knesset, Israel's parliament, on Monday night, according to the Jerusalem Post.
