Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party candidate Lai Ching-te's so-called "four-pillar plan" for cross-Straits peace is clearly a deception to voters, said Fred Tzou, secretary of Alliance for China's Peaceful Reunification, USA, regarding Lai's opinion piece published recently on the Wall Street Journal. In an exclusive interview with CGTN reporter Zheng Yibing, Tzou stressed that if Lai wants to explain his policies on how to deal with the Chinese mainland, he should address the Taiwan people, not complain to the American media.
