UN fails to renew cross-border aid deliveries mandate to Syria

The UN Security Council on Tuesday failed to renew the authorization of cross-border aid deliveries to northwestern Syria.
The mandate for operation, which has been delivering aid including food, medicine and shelter since 2014, expired on Monday.
