Mugecuo, located in the heart of Kangding Love Song Scenic Spot in southwest China's Sichuan Province, is the highlight of the destination. It is the largest lake in northwest Sichuan Province, located 2,000 meters above sea level, and is well recognized for its beautiful natural surroundings. It is approximately 5 kilometers long and 1.5 kilometers wide, with a total area of 3.2 square kilometers. The lake's deepest point is 70 meters. The mountains surrounding the lake are densely forested with poplars and redwoods. Tibetan antelopes, wild buffalos, deer, bears and wolves are occasionally spotted in the neighboring woodland, pond or lakeshore.
