Security guarantees from Western powers for Ukraine would undermine Russia's security and "make Europe much more dangerous for years and years," Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

"By giving security guarantees to Ukraine, they are undermining the security of the Russian Federation," Peskov said as G7 leaders prepared to announce guarantees on the sidelines of the NATO summit.
