A Russian MiG-31 fighter jet was dispatched after a Norwegian military aircraft approached the Russian border over the Barents Sea, RIA reported on Wednesday, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
The Norwegian Air Force patrol aircraft was eventually turned away from the Russian border.
