Dutch expert: U.S. increasing control over Europe through NATO

"For the short and medium term, it's become very difficult for the European Union to develop its own autonomous strategic capabilities. They can only be developed in the current constructure. They can only be developed within the context of NATO, and that means under ultimate U.S. supervision," said Henk Overbeek, emeritus professor of international relations at Vrjie Universiteit Amsterdam, in an exclusive interview with China Media Group.
