What is Chinese modernization? CGTN Stringer Hou Sen finds the answer with the help of agricultural drones spraying pesticides over the vast fields of northeast China.
In his eyes, Chinese modernization cannot be achieved without agricultural modernization, and modern tools like agricultural drones used by more farmers symbolize the development of Chinese agriculture.
Hou Sen spoke to Cui Qiang, a farmer in Dagujiazi Town of northeast China's Liaoning Province, who relies on agricultural drones because they make farm work much easier and convenient. "The cost is similar to the past, but drones have a much better effect as the yield is increasingly great," Cui said. "Using drones, I don't even have to show up now. Now I am in white (clothes) doing farm work, which was unimaginable in the past."
