The LVM3 launch rocket, carrying India's moon spacecraft Chandrayaan-3, lifted off from the country's Satish Dhawan Space Centre on Friday.
Chandrayaan-3 consists of an indigenous propulsion module, a lander module, and a rover with an objective of developing and demonstrating new technologies required for inter-planetary missions, according to the Indian Space Research Organization.
