A flat trend in new housing prices was also observed in 31 second-tier cities, while 35 third-tier cities recorded a 0.1-percent fall.

The second-hand market showed further decline overall, as month-on-month prices went down 0.7 percent in first-tier cities, and 0.4 percent in both second-tier and third-tier cities.
