The Simatai section of the Great Wall is one of the few sections in Beijing that has been continually well-retained throughout history and is currently open to tourists. The section has many unique features of its own: The contours of the zigzag mountain range, and the sharp elevation, along with the lush vegetation together create a breathtaking scene. Mist and clouds in the early morning added mystery to the ancient relic.
