From resident hospitals to desert and pastoral areas in Algeria, Chinese medical aid workers have been on active duty across the provinces of the northern African country, bringing peace and health to the locals. Tu Dachun, an orthopedic doctor from Jingzhou First People's Hospital in central China's Hubei Province, is currently carrying out the 27th batch of Chinese medical aid missions in Algeria. This is his sixth time being involved in foreign medical aid work, and he has worked in Algeria for a cumulative time of more than 12 years. As this year marks the 60th anniversary of China dispatching medical teams to foreign countries, Dr Tu shares his touching moments with the local people during his work in Africa.
