With mountains as the towering body and water as the restless soul, such convergence makes mountainous Qinghai Province in northwest China a pinnacle of life.

As summer comes, animals like camels begin to shed their heavy winter suits, while others like red foxes, Tibetan wild asses and Tibetan gazelles are busy bringing up their little ones. In some parts of Qinghai, the high altitude makes the summer surprisingly cold. However, wild yaks and cushion plants living there find their respective way out.

From July 17 to 28, CGTN Nature presents "Journeys in Nature: Mountainous Qinghai Series," taking you on a trip to explore the secret lives of the amazing creatures inhabiting Qinghai. Stay tuned!
