A volcanic eruption in an uninhabited valley near the Litli-Hrutur mountain, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of Iceland's Reykjavik, continues to unleash its fiery rage, spewing forth molten lava and noxious gases from a gaping fissure. According to meteorological authorities, the eruption commenced on a Monday afternoon, following thousands of earthquakes in the region.
