South Korean civic groups rallied in Seoul on July 15 to protest against Japan's plan to discharge wastewater from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant into the Pacific Ocean. This is the fifth large-scale protest against the ocean discharge plan since May. Protesters expressed dissatisfaction with the South Korean government's endorsement of the safety of the discharge plan.
