At least 8 killed in car pileup in NW China's highway

At least eight people have been killed and six others critically injured in a vehicle pileup that occurred at a highway in northwest China's Gansu Province, local authorities said Monday.
Rescue operations are underway and an investigation into the accident has been opened.
