China's National Bureau of Statistics said the country's economy has shown good momentum of recovery, as GDP expanded 5.5 percent in the first half of this year. The figure was released at a press conference on national economic performance on July 17. Qu Qiang, a research fellow at Beijing Foreign Studies University, said that China's economy is stable and improving, and its recovery will accelerate in H2 as households and businesses continue to improve.
