The Japanese government and the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) have not changed their plan to release nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the Fukushima power plant into the ocean this summer. On Monday, nearly 100 people from all across Japan organized spontaneous rallies in Fukushima to once again express their opposition to the plan.
