The 11th solar term of the year is Lesser Heat, which has ushered many parts across China into a spell of heatwaves. Local residents of west and south China are cautioned against intense outdoor activities when temperatures rise above 40 degrees Celsius. In the meantime, many regions across the world are also bracing for possible record high temperatures.
