In order to get the swimmers in shape for the upcoming 31st FISU World University Games, the Chinese university swimming team has held a test competition in Changchun of northeast China's Jilin Province. Another intense training event will be held before the Universiade to make squad selection for the swimming relay competition.
The FISU World University Games, known as the Universiade, will be held in southwest China's Chengdu between July 28 and August 8, marking the third time the event has been held in China. There are a total of 42 gold medals up for grabs during the swimming events, one of the largest amounts of any sport at the Universiade.
