Moscow has announced it is suspending its participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative that was brokered by Turkiye and the UN last year between Russia and Ukraine. Russia says its needs have not been met, but it will immediately return to the deal as soon as relevant parts of the agreement are fulfilled. Liu Baocheng, dean of the Center for International Business Ethics at the University of International Business and Economics, says that Russia is fighting on moral ground too as the West accuses it of taking hostage of people who are food insecure.
