China and Algeria issued a joint statement on Tuesday during Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's state visit to China.

Both sides reaffirmed firm support for each other's core interests, supporting each other in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity, making joint efforts to defend the principles of international law and the basic norms of international relations such as non-interference in internal affairs, and promoting the democratization of international relations.

Both countries vowed to closely communicate and coordinate at the international and multilateral occasions, advocate the settlement of conflicts by peaceful means through dialogue, emphasize the need to uphold the international system with the United Nations at its core, the international order based on international law, and safeguard the rights and interests of developing countries.

The two sides also agreed to deepen economic partnership, strengthen practical cooperation in various fields and work to increase the scale of bilateral trade volume.
