Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune is in China to forge stronger ties and seek greater cooperation. The country is an important partner of China's Belt and Road Initiative and was among the first countries to participate in the "Group of Friends of the Global Development Initiative." Professor Song Wei from the School of International Relations and Diplomacy at Beijing Foreign Studies University says the visit will contribute to the diversification and comprehensive development of trade relations between the two countries.
