UK announces extra 2.5 bln pounds for army stockpiles and munitions

UK's Ministry of Defence announced on Tuesday it plans to invest 2.5 billion pounds ($3.3 billion) in army stockpiles and munitions to improve the warfighting readiness of the British Armed Forces, according to an official statement.
