Yiwu in East China's Zhejiang Province, dubbed "the world's supermarket capital", is witnessing surging sports exports as the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou approaches. From January to May, Yiwu exported 2.85 billion yuan ($394 million) worth of sporting goods, an increase of 15.6 percent year-on-year, according to statistics from the Yiwu Sports and Fitness Products Industry Association.
