Kishore Mahbubani, renowned author and former Singaporean Ambassador to the UN, points out there is "a gradual shift within all institutions of global governance happening, whereby the Asian voice will become bigger and bigger. Asia has developed a different culture of peace, which doesn't depend as much on defense-related organizations but more on a culture of inclusiveness."
