China has developed and run a trial of its "four-second electromagnetic catapult microgravity experimental device."

The device uses electromagnetic ejection to create a microgravity experimental environment on the ground, and is expected to improve technological testing conditions. It's hoped it will benefit research, including for China's space station, lunar and Mars exploration.
