China Media Group (CMG) signed an agreement with the Shanghai Municipal People's Government on Thursday to provide media technology to the Shanghai Industrial Museum.
The agreement was signed by Xing Bo, vice president of CMG and Liu Duo, vice mayor of Shanghai, under the witness of Shen Haixiong, president of CMG and Gong Zheng, deputy secretary of Shanghai Municipal People's Government and Mayor of Shanghai.
In 2023, Shanghai decided to construct the industrial museum in its government work report. The new museum will be built at the former site of the historic Jiangnan Shipbuilding Factory.
Under the agreement, CMG will provide support including audio and video archives, 8K, augmented and virtual reality technologies to provide immersive experiences for future visitors.
