A powerful storm with strong winds and heavy rain swept through the Balkans on Wednesday, killing three people in Croatia. Two men in the capital Zagreb and one in the eastern town of Cernik died after being hit by falling trees. Casualties were also reported in Slovenia and Bosnia.
