Tayeb Zitouni, minister of Trade and Export Promotion of Algeria, said, "The political relationship between the two countries has a long history, is exemplary, and continues to evolve. Our goal is to elevate our economic, trade, and service relations to the same level as our political relations," during his attendance at a business forum held on Wednesday.
The forum aims to promote understanding and economic cooperation between China and Algeria. Over 100 representatives from companies in both China and Algeria attended the event. The event took place during Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's visit to China – his first since taking office.
