This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which has shown resilience and vitality in driving global development as a new model of sustainable international cooperation based on openness, inclusiveness and mutual benefit. Young people from many countries recently shared their impressions of the BRI with CGTN.
One of them is Takaya Inoue, an international student from Japan studying at the language center of Tsinghua University in the Chinese capital Beijing. Inoue, who was once a member of Tsinghua's Student Association of the BRI, shared his experience of coming to China and the cultural similarities he sees between China and Japan. He said he looks forward to more international exchange between the two countries.
