Team China secured the mixed doubles gold as they set up an all-Chinese final at the South Korea Open on Saturday.
Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin will compete against compatriots Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping in the mixed doubles final after they downed Japanese and Thai duos, respectively.
Meanwhile, Olympic champion Chen Yufei lost to local An Se-young who came back from one game down to take the match 15-21, 21-8, 24-22.
Chen denied An's first four match points with four points in a row from 16-20 behind, and leveled it again at 22-22, but could not stop An from racing to victory.
In the women's doubles, Olympic silver medalists Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan outclassed third seeds, compatriots Zhang Shuxian and Zheng Yu, 21-12, 21-12, in only 35 minutes to set up the final showdown with local pair Kim So-yeong and Kong Hee-yong.
Chen and Jia had dominant early leads at 11-6 and 14-4 in the games, leaving no chance for Zhang and Zheng to reverse them.
