The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) fired several cruise missiles toward the sea to the west of the Korean Peninsula on Saturday, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing the Republic of Korea's (ROK) military.

ROK and U.S intelligence officials are analyzing the launches, which took place at about 4 a.m., to learn more about the type of missiles fired and other details, according to the ROK's Joint Chiefs of Staff.
