Three people were injured in a stabbing attack on a train in Japan's Osaka prefecture on Sunday, public broadcaster NHK reported.
A railway worker at Rinku-town Station in Izumisano city called the police at around 10:30 a.m. local time. A suspect was caught on the platform of the station and was arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide, the report added.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
