Speaking of connectivity and cultural values of the Belt and Road Initiative, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev tells CMG's Wang Guan that societies situated along the ancient Silk Road are all multiethnic and multicultural, and that trade contributes to "friendship and interactions." He also notes that Azerbaijan has managed to preserve its cultural heritage for centuries, and will keep protecting these cultural assets and hand them over to future generations.
