On July 23, a cargo plane loaded with smart electronic products, clothing and other goods took off from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, bound for Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. This flight marked the official opening of the first direct international cargo route to Turkmenistan from the Greater Bay Area (GBA). Moreover, it is also the first Central Asian route from Shenzhen. The opening of this route is expected to further promote trade between China and Central Asian countries.
