One week of cultural exchanges hosted by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the main government body on the Chinese mainland in charge of cross-Straits ties, is now underway in Wuhan City, central China's Hubei Province. The event began on July 19 and aims to foster understanding, friendship and cooperation between students from both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
