A major international show that promotes cultural exchanges marked the start of its production on Monday during a ceremony held in Beijing.
The show, called "Meimeiyugong," was launched under a strategic cooperation agreement between the China Media Group (CMG) and China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The ceremony, held for the agreement's signing, was attended by Minister of Culture and Tourism Hu Heping, CMG President Shen Haixiong, and Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism Rao Quan, among others.
Both CMG and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will establish close communication, enhance exchange and cooperation, and improve the working mechanisms, Hu said.
They will effectively transform the beautiful vision and cooperation outlined in the agreement into practical actions and tangible results in terms of news dissemination, public opinion guidance, international communication, and other aspects, he added.
Shen said both parties will jointly shoulder the mission of cultural development in the new era and conduct regular cooperation in areas such as artistic creation, public culture, cultural industries, cultural and tourism markets, and international cultural exchanges.
