Early rice is being harvested in China in a highly mechanized manner, with over 80 percent of the grain already reaped, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. A total of 280,000 combine harvesters, 240,000 rice transplanters and 50,000 drying machines have been deployed across the country to ensure an efficient harvest.
