IMF projects global growth down to 3.0 percent in 2023

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) projected on Tuesday that the world economy will fall from an estimated 3.5 percent in 2022 to 3.0 percent in both 2023 and 2024, according to the newly released World Economic Outlook (WEO) report.
