Expert: Inflation remains major challenge and will take time to resolve

The International Monetary Fund has raised its 2023 global growth prediction, but only by a small percentage. Growth in emerging markets and developing economies is projected to remain stable at 4 percent in 2023 and 4.1 percent in 2024, with minor revisions. John Gong, vice president of research and strategy at the University of International Business and Economics, says inflation remains a major challenge and will take time to resolve.
