Former Thai PM Thaksin to return to Thailand on August 10

Thailand's former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra will return to the kingdom on August 10, his daughter said Wednesday.
Thaksin was sentenced to a two-year jail term by the Supreme Court in 2008 and he is facing several other charges. He fled Thailand in self-exile overseas in 2008.
