Nigerian athletes say they hope to make a breakthrough at the 31st FISU Summer World University Games, opening on July 28. Twenty-seven athletes from 17 universities in Nigeria will compete in six out of the 15 compulsory sports at the biennial event, including track and field, taekwondo and tennis. Speaking at a see-off ceremony, athletes said they hope to achieve optimal performance at the event.
